Behind the Scene: Earth Day in Burford

It was a sunny, but chilly morning in Burford’s Lion’s Park for the 3rd Annual Tree Plant.

Students from Paris District High School helped to host the event, that coincided with Earth Day. They were easily distinguished by their colourful paint splashed t-shirts. Many came out to the event to plant 1000 trees in the park. Scouts, members of the community and Brant council member William Bouma were among the participants. Refreshments were served to the hard working planters.
